Based on Einstein’s theory that all matter is made of energy, the premise of Energy Leadership™ is that human beings can embody seven levels of energy or consciousness and lead or shift that energy in new directions (Bruce Schneider, iPEC, 1999). If you think of your body as an energetic system, the inputs are your thoughts, emotions and actions (all that you’ve ever had), and the output is your energetic make-up.
In the most general terms, there are two types of energy: Anabolic and Catabolic. Anabolic energy is “positive”, constructive and healing, and it releases anabolic hormones, such as testosterone into the body. This is what the human body seeks to maintain for optimal health and well-being. This keeps us alive as a species. Conversely, catabolic energy is “negative”, destructive and unhealthy. It releases catabolic chemicals into the body, such as cortisol and adrenaline.
Our life experiences, upbringing, beliefs and so on, create a unique lens from which we navigate through life. Through this lens, we create both anabolic and catabolic thoughts, emotions and actions that form our energetic make-up. Catabolic energy exponentially impacts the amount of anabolic energy in our energetic system and without intervention, the system continues to cycle.
The more anabolic energy we have, the higher our energy level or consciousness and the more positive, inspiring and productive life we have. As human beings, our energy bounces up and down all day long, however each of us has an average resonating level of energy (Bruce Schneider, iPEC, 1999). Our Average Resonating Level (ARL) consists of our own unique energetic make-up, like a fingerprint, and is based on every thought, feeling, emotion and action that we’ve experienced in our entire lives.
Core Energy Coaching helps people to view their own unique lens from a different perspective. This ability enables them to see their real perceptions, beliefs, behaviors and attitudes and make conscious choices in their lives – choices that are not based in fear, assumptions, interpretations or limiting beliefs. Through this process an individual continuously focuses on reaching their goals while raising their anabolic energy. This not only creates profound results quickly, but results that are sustainable.
The Energy Leadership Index (E.L.I.) is a one-of-a-kind attitudinal assessment that quantifies the way an individual perceives and approaches work and life and reacts to different circumstances and experiences. In other words, it enables us to hold up a mirror to our perceptions, attitudes and behaviors. There are no limits to the potential growth that you can achieve! Once you realize that your level of consciousness is directly related to your actions, you can move from functioning effectively, to functioning optimally.
The assessment produces a combined numerical value - the E-Factor™ - that indicates your overall level of consciousness or energy. It is derived from the Energetic Self Perception Chart™ (Bruce D Schneider, iPEC, 1999), which delineates the seven levels of consciousness or awareness of self and life. In addition to learning what your current E-Factor is, the assessment measures how much energy you currently have in the catabolic-suppressing range and in the anabolic-inspirational range.
Unlike personality assessments that are may label a person or help a person to work well within that label, the E.L.I is an attitudinal assessment that measures your level of energy based on your attitude or view of your world. Because attitude is subjective, it can be altered! You can alter your attitude and perspective, make a shift in your consciousness, and increase your energy level!
Compelling research reveals that the higher a person’s E-Factor, the greater overall level of life and work satisfaction. A blind study asked 100 people who completed the Energy Leadership Index assessment to rate themselves on 14 indicators of success (see sidebar). Participants with an E-Factor averaging 3.0 (with a possible range of 1 to 7) reported higher ratings in 14 out of 14 of the success measurements, compared to participants who scored 2.5. This 100 percent correlation demonstrated empirically that a person’s E-Factor directly correlates to these 14 success measurements.
Further, the significance of improvement in these categories was extraordinary, showing an increase of between 6 and 20 percent for every one of the 14 items. These solid findings were the product of only a half-point difference (from 2.5 to 3.0) in E-Factor scores. The difference in success ratings between E-Factors of 2.5 and below, and 3.5 and higher, were substantially greater.
Listed are the 14 indicators of success and the percentage of increase in ratings by participants with an E-Factor of 3.0, as compared to those with an E-Factor of 2.5. Click here for FREE Research Report.
